I was scoping out paperdolls for inspiration today (upcoming project, info coming soon!) and stumbled across a designer (CANADIAN!) who just blew my breath away! Her name is Danielle Meder and she has a blog called FINAL FASHION. As a huge comic book nerd her sketches just screamed high end X-men. lol. I could just imagine how she'd draw Kitty Pryde! Anyways below are a few of her paper dolls but definitely click on the link above and give her site full look over ...

Just in time for The Vampire Diaries‘ second season premiere, Buzz Sugar chatted with Katerina Graham, who plays Bonnie on the series. She spilled the beans on whom she thinks Elena should be with and a possible love connection between Bonnie and a certain sexy vampire (though she played it very, very coy). Graham dished on the new werewolves, and also revealed her fever for a young man named Justin Bieber.

BuzzSugar: What are you most excited about in the upcoming season?
Katerina Graham: I’m really excited about the season premiere, honestly. There have been so many episodes shot after that – we’re on episode six – but I’m really dying to see the season premiere, I’m just dying!

Buzz: Has it been weird acting with Nina Dobrev as Katherine and Elena now?
KG: No! Nina’s always great to do scenes with, and just because she’s a new character she’s still very much Nina Dobrev, still very much that person to work with. She’s handling Katherine really really well.

Buzz: I’ve noticed some sexual tension between Damon and Bonnie.
KG: I don’t know what you’re talking about.

Buzz: Is there any possibility of a love connection between them?
KG: I don’t know . . . that’s the answer! Next question, next question!

Buzz: Is there a chance of another love interest for Bonnie then?
KG: I think there’s a chance, but do I know if it’s going to happen? I don’t. [But] hopefully. It would be nice!

Buzz: Are we going to see Bonnie kicking ass this season?
KG: Oh, yeah, from the jump she’s kicking ass. She’s going to try – although she might not succeed sometimes, she’s going to be trying to kick ass. She’s going to be doing her thing.

Buzz: How will the addition of werewolves affect the show?
KG: It completely affects the show, it alters everything that you might have thought the show was gong to be. Werewolves are going to play such an important part this season. I know that notoriously vampires and werewolves don’t get along, so that creates a whole other conflict for everyone to deal with, and then Katherine’s back, that’s a whole other thing. It’s so interesting to see how they’re all playing with each other. And I don’t think any of them are going to play nice.

Buzz: Will Bonnie be discovering more of her powers?
KG: Absolutely. She also discovers things she can do easily and certain things she’s learning and still developing. Over time we’ll discover more of her abilities, which is always fun for the fans to see.

Buzz: Will we see Bonnie happy again?
KG: Yeah! She’s trying. I think if you lose anyone you’re going to be bummed out, and that’s OK. She’s a bit edgier this year, definitely, but she’s still got the sense of humor and I always like to find the fun in the scenes.

Buzz: Is she always going to hate Stefan, and vampires in general?
KG: I don’t know if she’s always going to hate anyone, but I definitely feel that she’ll never let certain things go. She’ll never let the things that Damon’s done go, and she’ll never let the things that Stefan’s done go. She can maybe forgive them, but Bonnie doesn’t forget anything.

Buzz: So spill, are you Team Damon or Team Stefan?
KG: I would love to see Elena with Stefan because he really loves her. [It's a] no boundaries kind of love, and I believe in that and I believe in being with the people that are like that. I think that Damon hasn’t quite gotten over his ex yet. But we’ll see; plotlines can change and I can think that by the end of the season, I could think that Stefan hasn’t earned Elena. Damon hasn’t earned Elena. I think he’s got a lot to get over, especially the things that he’s done to Jeremy and the things he’s done to the family, and the things that he’s done to me. We’ll see. He could turn out to really prove himself. I think everyone deserves another chance.

Buzz: You were recently in Justin Bieber’s “Somebody to Love” video. Do you have Bieber fever?
KG: I totally have Bieber fever! Everyone around me has Bieber fever! We looove Justin Bieber. Everyone in my music camp is big supporters of him, and vice versa. He’s been very supportive of me and my music.

Buzz: Does Bieber watch The Vampire Diaries?
KG: He’s very aware of it! I don’t know how much time he has to watch TV, but he’s aware of it. I think he would make a great vampire.

Buzz: It would be awesome if you could get him to guest star.
KG: I know, fingers crossed!

Don’t get a Lockwood angry. You won’t like them when they’re angry. In The Vampire Dairies‘ September 9 premiere, Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino) is surprised to see his long-absent, black sheep of the family Uncle Mason (Taylor Kinney) turn up for the funeral of his dad, the mayor. But a bigger surprise comes when Mason drops the bomb that werewolfism runs in the Lockwood bloodline!

“Mason has learned to harness his rage and is going to serve as a mentor to Tyler,” says Taylor. “I’ve come to teach Tyler that there are choices he can make to control his destiny as a human…or otherwise.”

Nina Dobrev (Elena/Katherine) adds, “Taylor’s been adjusting really well. I don’t envy when new people come [on set] because we’ve all already created this family bond, but everyone’s really accepted him.” The same won’t hold true in Mystic Falls, reveals Ian Somerhalder (Damon). “Mason’s a really nice guy, but Damon makes it difficult for him to be nice,” says Ian. “He really pisses Damon off.”

“Yeah, we don’t get along,” echoes Taylor. “Historically, the Salvatores haven’t gotten along with the Lockwoods for ages, and having a new Lockwood in town doesn’t sit well.”

It hasn’t been lost on him that he’s following in the werewolf paw prints of another famous Taylor —Twilight hottie Taylor Lautner. “My brother gave me a few ‘Team Jacob’ magnets to mess with me,” says Taylor, who apparently sports impressive abs of his own. “I don’t know if I stack up to Mr. Lautner, but we’ll see.”

As for competing with all those sexy werewolves on a certain HBO series, Taylor says he finds it perplexing that “every time a werewolf takes off his pants on True Blood, he transforms.” Mason’s transformation will be more traditional—dependent upon a full moon. And the actor says he’s well-equipped for his first howling scene. “I grow hair like crazy!”

Exec producers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec offered few spoilers when moderator Marcos Siega rattled off a list of questions he had about The CW’s genre soap “The Vampire Diaries.”

Responses ranged from “I’m not going to say” to “possibly,” but to quell the crowd’s disappointment in the lack of new information from the gatekeepers, a never-before-seen teaser of the Season 2 premiere — which wrapped shooting the day before — was shown, ending the lighthearted panel on an anticipatory note.

The highlight was Katherine (or Elena) admitting to Damon: “The truth is, I never loved you.” Then you see an unhappy Damon violently throw down a glass. A natural reaction if you were caught in his situation, wouldn’t you think?

Some plot points did surface, including one that could prove problematic.

tvd Vampire Diaries crew drop season two hintsWhen Siega asked about the possibility of seeing Stefan speaking to Katherine but believing she was Elena, Williamson revealed that “Katherine and Stefan [do] come face to face [in the first episode back].” Speaking of Katherine, according to Williamson, there’s more to her backstory: “There’s another part of the story we haven’t shown you.”

Plec shared some info on Jeremy’s fate. “He’s either going to wake up alive or he’s going to wake up dead. But he is going to wake up,” she said. Read into that what you will.

Williamson also made mention that Stefan would be accepting his identity. “One of the things that Stefan will come to terms with is the fact that he’s a vampire, and that includes drinking blood,” he said.

And like “Twilight” and “True Blood,” “Diaries” has a werewolf element crucial to the series. Now that things are progressing for Tyler, whose family (the Lockwoods) has a curse he isn’t yet aware of, the first werewolf image may be seen sooner than you think.

“It’ll happen [some time] in the first order,” Williamson said.

Much of the session catered to the fans and also showcased the cast and crew’s good rapport. When Siega asked about Stefan being “stuck in the closet,” the panelists couldn’t take the question seriously. Wesley went along with it to the amusement of the crowd and finally said, “I’m going to come out of the closet.”

“[Kevin just] said, ‘Marcos, thanks for ruining the big twist,’ ” Somerhalder said, laughing.

Who was most unlike their character, who had the best hair (Paul Wesley) and who was the better kisser (“I guess I’m the lucky one, I get to make out with them both,” Dobrev answered diplomatically) only scratched the surface.

“Earlier today, I wrote on both their hands. Team Elena [on Wesley's] and Team Katherine [on Somerhalder's],” Dobrev said, holding up their wrists as proof.

A fun moment during the panel was when Somerhalder shared that he could wear the vampire fangs and speak normally.

“I can recite the Gettysburg address [while wearing] mine,” he declared.

The panelists urged him to prove his statement (and intelligence) and Somerhalder obliged, “Four score and seven years …,” proving he wasn’t just a pretty face.

An exclusive sit-down interview with Vampire Diariesexecutive producers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec to discuss some of the Season 2 secrets they’re plotting.

TV Guide Magazine: Your first season included so many great theme episodes — like the bloody Halloween party and the Miss Mystic Falls pageant. Can we expect more of these events?
Williamson: The CW is very event-oriented, but I was initially very resistant of it. Last season was all built around Founder’s Day. And this year we’re considering three events as our big lead-up to the season finale.
Plec: We do have a carnival in our second episode, and in the third episode, Elena and Damon and Alaric travel together to Duke University, where Isobel, Alaric’s wife and Elena’s birth mother, met and lived together. She studied the paranormal and was an expert in the anthropology department which is how she disguised her vampire research. She had become obsessed with Mystic Falls and dug deep into the history of the town. So on their trip, they dig into her dusty files to see what she may have known that they don’t know.

TV Guide Magazine: What about another Halloween episode?
Williamson: We’re not looking at the show as if a whole year has passed, but we will have an episode timed to Halloween, which will be a huge masquerade ball that we’re now thinking of as a possible two-parter. S–t will hit the fan.

TV Guide Magazine: There will be one big murder?
Plec: Yes. At least.
Williamson: It’s getting harder and harder to look at our wall of death where we have photos of people like Anna (Malese Jow) and Bonnie’s grandmother (Jasmine Guy).
Plec: And Lexi (Arielle Kebbel)…

TV Guide Magazine: I was quite upset about Bonnie losing her Gran. Will we meet Bonnie’s parents?
Plec: People ask, ‘Why doesn’t Bonnie have parents?’ Well, Bonnie does have parents. She lives with her father, who we have not met on camera, but she does not have a relationship with her mother. These are characters we may possibly explore this year. Bonnie comes from a long line of Bennett witches and mom is out there somewhere…
Williamson: True Blood actually did with LaFayette’s mother (revealing her in a mental institution) what we wanted to do with Bonnie’s mother, even though we came up with that idea a year ago.
Plec: That happens all the time.
Williamson: Sometimes we’ll write dialogue and Nina Dobrev (Elena) will say, ‘You do realize that’s exactly what was said in Twilight, right?’ And I’ll tell her, ‘No, I had no idea.’ Vampire stories have been told for centuries so stories are going to overlap. I just don’t want to do it in the same way or too close to when the others do it.

TV Guide Magazine: Speaking of which, both Twilight and True Blood have plunged heavily into werewolf territory, which you are about to do in your new season.
Plec: We actually talked about this a lot, because we didn’t want to be the third to bring something to the table. But it’s in the Vampire Diaries books and the character of Tyler Lockwood could not and should not exist without this werewolf arc. We started laying the groundwork for this story all last season, so to negate that genre element would have been to negate the entire Tyler character.
Williamson: Every vampire story has a werewolf nearby. It’s just the way it is.

TV Guide Magazine: What will your werewolves look like?
Williamson: Wolves, and we’ll show them transform. But not right away. And I think on True Blood their werewolves transform at will, whereas Tyler is bound by the full moon. Once a month he can’t control it.

TV Guide Magazine: And now it’s looking as though True Blood is about to introduce werepanthers.
Williamson: Really? Well we’ll introduce were-armadillos!

TV Guide Magazine: One thing Elena hasn’t considered yet is her potentially having to sacrifice motherhood if she lives forever with a Salvatore vampire, because your vampires can’t conceive, can they?
Plec: No they cannot.
Williamson: One of the things we’ll see Elena deal with this year are mortality issues. She’s dating a guy who’s never going to get old and she’s never going to be able to have children.

TV Guide Magazine: There’s lots of gayness going on over at True Blood. It surprises me that there’s no suggestion of homosexuality on a Kevin Williamson show.
Williamson: I’m happy to bring a gay character in when it fits the story. Caroline’s father is gay. He has a boyfriend. We’ve already set him up as a Founding Family member.
Plec: And it’s quite possible we’ll be meeting Caroline’s dad this year. This is going to be a big season for Caroline’s relationship with her mom, the sheriff.

Sounds like some good stuff is planned. And it seems we can at least breath a sigh of relief that Caroline — last seen bleeding internally — will survive her emergency surgery. As for the other cliffhangers, we’ll all have to stay tuned until the Sept. 9 season premiere to find out if Jeremy becomes a vampire, if Uncle John survives and if Elena exposes Katherine as her scheming impostor.

Once Katherine returned to Mystic Falls inThe Vampire Diaries‘ season finale, it didn’t take her long to do some serious damage. Kissing Damon! Stabbing John!

Producers and cast say her tour of destruction has only just begun.

“I would like to see Elena take on Katherine. Elena’s gone a long way,” Nina Dobrev said at the show’s Comic-Con panel Saturday. Despite Elena’s evolution over the course of Season 1, Dobrev said it’s still nice to step into Katherine’s shoes. “She’s badass. She gets away with a lot.”

More important than a possible battle between Elena and Katherine, however, is the conflict ahead for Damon and Stefan, as Katherine tries to pit the Salvatore brothers against each other. In exclusive footage from the new season, Katherine tells Damon that she never loved him, despite their season-finale lip-lock, and tells Stefan that she came back for him.

“This little switcheroo thing is kind of interesting. Katherine fooled Damon, but it will be really interesting to see Katherine and Stefan come face to face,” creator and executive producerKevin Williamson said, noting that the confrontation will take place in the first episode.

Katherine’s return may also lead to changes in Damon and Stefan’s distinct personalities. That means seeing more of “nice Damon” and the increasingly dark side of Stefan.

“I think it’s a thing that will never escape him,” Williamson said. “He’s going to have to come to terms with being a vampire and accepting himself for who he is. Part of accepting himself may just be drinking blood.”

But no matter how dark Stefan or other characters may get this season, executive producerJulie Plec promises the change isn’t necessarily permanent.

“We like to think that the darker a character goes, the closer we get to a window to the light,” she said.

Things can’t get much darker for Katherine, who murdered John in the final moments of the season finale. Will there be further bloodshed in Mystic Falls at her hands? Williamson would only say there would be more deaths ahead.

“It has to fit for the story,” Williamson said of the upcoming fatalities. “It has to come from a place of good storytelling.”

Viewers can also expect to learn more about Katherine’s origins via flashbacks.

“There’s another part of the story we haven’t shown you,” Williamson said. “It’s Chapter 2, but it’s also the other side. That’s sort of the mystery: Where has she been? What has she been up to?”

The Vampire Diaries returns on Thursday, Sept. 9.

BewitchedI Dream of Jeannie and The Patty Duke Show all did it way back in the ’60s, and next season on The Vampire Diaries, Nina Dobrev’s Elena will make her onscreen debut on the same screen with Nina Dobrev’s Katherine, who made her dramatic return to Mystic Falls posing as Elena in May’s season finale.

“I can’t talk much about it yet,” says executive producer Julie Plec, “but one of the big surprises is that Katherine comes face to face with Elena.”

How does Nina feel about playing both Elena and her 19th century doppelgänger in the same scenes? “I will have to ask for a second pay check,” kids the 21-year-old, who as a child marveled over Lindsay Lohan’s dual performance in The Parent Trap. While special effects have advanced a thousandfold since Elizabeth Montgomery’s Samantha/Serena face-offs on Bewitched, Nina is still worried about emoting opposite a stand-in tennis ball when the series resumes production in July. “It will be difficult because a lot of acting is reacting to the other person, but it’ll be fun to step out of my comfort zone.”

Nina’s not the only one who’ll be given a tough acting assignment. Having the look-alike ladies in the same town will also force Ian Somerhalder to play two different sides of Damon. “It’s going to be an emotional rollercoaster for me,” Ian predicts. “Damon, with Katherine, is this youthful wide-eyed fun guy who is so intrigued by her — so different from the maniacal, more mature Damon you see with Elena.”

While we wait patiently for the next new episode of Vampire Diaries (Thursday, March 25, 8/7c on the CW), TVGuide.com talked to executive producers Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson about where the show is heading this spring. Spoiler alert: They reveal key details about the season finale.

TVGuide.com: How will the love triangle between Stefan (Paul Wesley), Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) evolve in these next episodes?
Williamson:
One of the most important things Julie and I wanted to do this season is cement the love between Stefan and Elena. It’s that love story that will be the anchor of this entire show. We have to earn that.

TVGuide.com: All signs point to Alaric’s wife, Isobel (Mia Kirshner), being Elena’s mother. When will we learn more about that?
Plec:
The signals are pointing very much in that direction.
Williamson: In regards to what happens, there’s still a few surprises with all of that.
Plec: The next episode is very much about Elena’s search to try to get to the bottom of who this woman is and how, if at all, she connects to Alaric.

TVGuide.com: We’ll soon be meeting Jonathan Gilbert. How does he come into play?
Williamson:
Uncle John [David Anders] comes to town for one reason and then you slowly start to realize he could be there for another. He has a hidden agenda, just like everyone else in town.
Plec: He’s stepping in to fill the shoes on the Founders’ Council, with there being a lack of Gilberts representing the founding families. Uncle John gets in there to stir things up.
Williamson: One of the surprises is that he shows up, interestingly enough, just after that tomb is opened. How convenient.

TVGuide.com: Was he in the tomb?
Williamson:
Maybe…not.
Plec:
Oh, gosh no. [Laughs]

TVGuide.com: The tomb is still open, isn’t it?
Plec: Yes, and
there’s some good that comes out of there and there’s some very, very, very bad that comes out of there.
Williamson: And there’s some stuff that launches us into a whole new story line.

TVGuide.com: Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) is starting to figure out that there are vampires. Will that put him in danger?
Plec:
Jeremy has seen too much. We’re exploring how he starts to dig a little bit deeper and put the pieces together of what exactly vampires are and if they’re real. Is this pretty girl that he kissed in the woods, who we saw little veiny eyes on, is she one? The vampire has a crazy allure, as we’ve seen between Elena and Stefan, so is he going to fall for her or have some feelings for one of his own?
Williamson: Or is he going to fall in the footsteps of the Gilberts that came before him?
Plec: Which are no friends of the vampire.

TVGuide.com: What should we expect in the season finale?
Plec:
What we’ve been building to from the beginning — it’s something we took directly from the books — is this event called the Founders’ Day Celebration, which is the anniversary of the founding of the town. We’re looking into big period costumes and Civil War reenactments and maybe some parade action with some big floats. It’s going to be the big event that connects us back to 1864 and what went down back then. It messes things up so when we come back in Season 2, everyone has a reason to tune in again. There are nine “oh my God” moments.

Question: I am dying here without Vampire Diaries! Please give us some scoop on the Damon-Elena relationship because I am loving it! —Ash
Ausiello:
Then prepare to love this season’s final string of episodes, which exec producer Julie Plec tells me will be heavily focused on the pair. “We’ll see Damon start to look at Elena as more than just his brother’s girlfriend or the doppelganger to the love of his life,” she reveals. “He’ll start to love and understand her as a human being, which is ironic because Damon could typically give a s–t about anything involving humanity. It’s some good stuff.”

  • The cast and showrunners of The Vampire Diaries were all smiles on the panel and seemed to have a close-knit relationship. In fact, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley repeatedly mentioned how close they are, even dressing alike and hanging out together after work – love that.
  • As far as plot goes: Vicki isn’t coming back, though her death will continue to have an effect on Jeremy and Matt. Matt’s mother will be making an appearance in the upcoming seasons, along with Mia Kirshner, who will play Alaric’s dead wife in his flashbacks. We’ll also learn about his agenda in Mystic Falls.
  • Alaric isn’t the only one with plans. Creator Kevin Williamson revealed,”Damon has an agenda. He’s going to save Katherine. He’s going to do everything possible he can to get to her. And so, that tomb is still in play.”
  • Nina spoke a little about the love triangle heating up, saying, “Well, it’s not a love triangle with only two people. And now that the necklace is off, she’s very vulnerable. And in this next episode that we’re going to see, there are going to be a lot more of Damon and Elena.” Williamson added, “One of the things that’s going to be really interesting in this upcoming episode is Damon and Elena sort of have some alone time. They have a little bit of an adventure where they’re sort of – you know, there’s no Stefan. There’s just the two of them.” Hot!
  • After the panel, Paul said there’s been nothing specific in the script about werewolves just yet, though he thinks the idea is “fantastic.” Kevin Williamson also said that though Elena is turned into a vampire pretty early on in the books, we won’t see Nina Dobrev playing any bloodsucker besides Katherine anytime soon.

The Vampire Diaries – Matt Davis

Matthew Davis arrived on the Atlanta set of The Vampire Diaries just two days after getting the gig, leaving him no time to read the books; so playing Alaric Saltzman, an enigmatic new teacher, wasn’t that tough. Right off the bat, Alaric takes a shine to both Jeremy and his aunt, but it will be a while before his true passion is revealed. (Hint: Alaric has something in common with Buffy.) Davis tells TVGuide.com what Alaric is researching in Mystic Falls, when he’ll interact with Stefan and Damon and why he hopes never to be called to the special-effects office.

TVGuide.com: Are you a vampire person generally?
Matthew Davis: I’m huge into genres of all sorts, especially the darker elements.

TVGuide.com: What did they tell you about Alaric going in?
Davis: I hopped on that plane not knowing what I was getting myself into. Alaric definitely has a past, and he’s there to add a heightened sense of tension to the story line.

TVGuide.com: Is Alaric a good guy or a bad guy?
Davis: It’s not so clearly defined. He has a dark side, and I think he’s not always going to do the right thing. How that compels him remains to be seen.

TVGuide.com: Tell me about Alaric’s secret research.
Davis: It’s of the paranormal persuasion. I’m here to play the teacher; the hobbies of my research are pretty much kept secret at this point.

TVGuide.com: Will he be allied with the vampire-hunting grown-ups in any way?
Davis: I don’t think so; I think he’s more of a loner.

TVGuide.com: Does Alaric know that Stefan and Damon are vampires?
Davis: No.

TVGuide.com: How does Alaric’s arrival affect Jeremy?
Davis: I think that Alaric sees him as the troubled teen that he is. Because of Alaric’s own history and background, he reaches out and gives Jeremy the opportunity to redeem himself. Alaric clears the decks, in an academic sense, and provides a stable, understanding presence in his life. Jeremy begins to respect Alaric.

TVGuide.com: That is, until Alaric hooks up with Jeremy’s aunt, Jenna.
Davis: They’re definitely setting up that possibility at this point. There’s a scene where [Alaric and Jenna are] introduced, and there’s chemistry.

TVGuide.com: How long will he be sticking around?
Davis: Right now, I don’t really know. The joke on the set is that getting called down to the effects department to be fitted for a body mold is the kiss of death. They have to fit you for prosthetics so you can be staked in the heart or something.

TVGuide.com: Is he supernatural in any way himself?
Davis: Only in his own mind.

Twilight, True Blood and The Vampire Diaries all snagged multiple People’s Choice Awards nominations, proving that vampires really are taking over Hollywood.

Both True Blood and Vampire Diaries grabbed a nom for favorite sci-fi/fantasy show. True Blood is also nominated for favorite TV obsession and its star, Anna Paquin, got a nod in the TV drama actress category. Additionally, Diaries is up for new TV drama.

Twilight picked up three nominations: favorite movie, franchise and on-screen team. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are also nominated for favorite movie actress and actor, while Taylor Lautner got a nod for breakout movie actor.

Other notable nominees include Grey’s Anatomy, Lost and House in the TV drama category, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is nominated for favorite movie, and Taylor Swift and Beyoncé will battle for best female artist.

There are so many intense looks in this video that by the time the five minutes were up, Paul Wesley’s eyes were burned into my brain.

When we’re not staring deeply into Wesley’s soul, we’re learning more about Elena (Degrassi‘s Nina Dobrev) and the two vampires who will be battling for her heart and soul: Stefan (Wesley), who seems like a mopey puppydog of a vampire, and Damon (Ian Somerhalder), his smug, sarcastic, and more evil older brother. For me, the trailer picks up when Somerhalder arrives on the scene; I like his snappy comments, and the relationship between the two brothers looks like something I could get used to watching.
